20% Alcohol: Achieved in 5-6 days with controlled conditions (up to 21% in optimal settings).
14% Alcohol: Achieved within 48 hours for faster fermentation.
The final alcohol concentration is determined by the initial amount of sugar, allowing for flexibility based on your distilling goals. This yeast also contains mineral absorbents for ultra-pure results, making it particularly suitable for vodka and other high-purity spirits.
Directions for Use:
Add 15L (4 US Gal) of lukewarm water (25°C/77°F) to your fermenter.
Add sugar according to the desired alcohol level (refer to table) and mix thoroughly.
Top up with water to a total volume of 25L (6.6 US Gal), adjusting the liquid temperature as needed.
Add the entire sachet of Alcotec 48 yeast and mix well.
For achieving up to 21% alcohol, maintain a constant liquid temperature between 18-24°C (64-75°F) with appropriate cooling equipment.
